American Composting, Inc. provides yard waste (grass, leaves, and brush) recycling services to most of the municipalities in the Little Rock / North Little Rock area. ACI also provides disposal/recycling services to local industries that produce clean organic wastes, including the following:

	landscape clearings		untreated wood
	pallets		sawdust
	paper and cardboard		waxed papers and cardboard
	yard wastes (grass, leaves, and brush)		wooden boxes and corrugate containers
	wooden spools		paper sludges
	biosolids		crates
	grease trap waste		grit trap waste
	other organic sludges		rice hulls
	food and food processing wastes (bulk, canned or bottled)		expired or spoiled beverages (bulk, canned, or bottled)
	gin trash		manures
	slaughterhouse wastes

ACI cannot accept treated wood, or chemicals. We can accept loads with very small quantities of plastic and small metal objects, such as nails. We can only take glass when it is part of a containerized food or beverage load.

These feedstocks are recycled, using a regulatorily approved natural process to compost them into premium quality composts, soil blends, and mulches for greenhouse, nursery, landscaping, and retail markets.

ACI recycles over 250,000 cubic yards of waste materials every year. That’s more than most medium sized landfills bury during a year. This also makes us one of the largest and most integrated organics recycling companies in the region.
